Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh broccoli, chopped
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups milk or 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded carrot
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 8 ounces cream cheese

Instructions
 

  • Place chopped onion, carrots, broccoli, nutmeg, and chicken broth in the pot.
  • Add cream cheese.
  • Place on manual high pressure for 4 minutes.
  • Do a quick release and stir in milk or heavy cream.
  • Place pot back on saute for about 5 minutes. Do not bring to a boil.
  • Stir in the cheese and hot sauce after cheese is melted.
  • Serve with bread or crackers.
